Boot: Boot 8650 from RZ on HSJ

The Question is:

We have an VAX 8650 booting from an RA90 attached to an HSC95. Over
the weekend we shut this system down did a backup/image to a RZ28 disk
that is attached to a HSJ40. We edited defboo.com on the console to point
to the new disk and got the message failed to initialize device. The original
disk was numbered $1$dua65: and the new disk $1$dua405:. The current
version of the RL02 console pack is v13.0. Should we be able to boot and old
8650 off of HSJ controllers.

The Answer is:

But did they change the R2 to reflect the change in CI
node number? R2= 00000xxyy xx= CI for first Path yy= CI for second
Path. They didn't mention OpenVMS version but there were problems
with say V5.5-2 and older console revs booting to HSJs I don't
know what the latest console would be.
